Shanna, Like I have said before I don't know Ricky but I just adore and love him. I think he is trying so hard to be the best little guy he can and I know that someday he will. Look how much he has improved since you got him. I just have a soft spot in my heart for him. Nan

Rickys real name when I adopted him was Taco, owner turn in. But I did not like that name, and he seemed not to respond to it... so I changed it to Ricky! He is a bit lonely without my daughter kitty here anymore. They moved out to there own place. Ricky and I went over to their house to visit last Thursday. When my daughters kitty saw Ricky, she jumped on him and wrapped her front arms around his neck! after Ricky sniffed the house a bit, he and Dakota started running and playing!! they were both happy. He reminds me so much of my Sami when I got him and he was only 8 weeks old! I did private lessons at Pets Mart for him, I asked around for the best trainer and she was wonderful. It took some time but Sami got through his issues and became a wonderful dog and I know Ricky will too, maybe Ricky needs a Lucy to keep him company? And in one level, he was the only one. I don't know how it will be up where you are, but you might not have to worry about other dogs in the class. Also, if there are other dogs, the dogs stay on leash while training and its a very controlled environment when its all older dogs. You can ask any trainer at petsmart anything you want to know and they should be able to help you even if you're not in the classes. I would ask them how they think he would handle it and maybe ask about the other dogs in the class you're interested in. Also, they can help you with deciding what kind of harness, leash, halti to use. I use a harness with Monster. Hope this helps. His neck is just too small and I do not want to injur him. He wears a harness for walks, collar for tags only. What about a halti? Remember he is aggressive (bites) when he does not want to do something you want him to do. How to handle him under these conditions without getting bit? Or do you think its best to take him to Petsmart for training? He does not like other dogs, or people. :( Shanna & Ricky Las Vegas Nevada!! My Chi Ricky...
