I did a Google on litter box training dogs and it seems like something you can try especially since he is a smaller dog.

To: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, January 18, 2011, 7:38 PM Thanks for responding, I haven't tried that. I've heard that chihuahuas can be litter box trained. I've always had big dogs, labs and retrievers, never a small one before. How would be the best way to train him that he can poop in a box or on a pad? I've never even had a cat so I really have no idea. He's a great dog, I always said I'd never have a chihuahua or any toy size dog, but when I saw him he was in such bad shape and my heart melted for him so I had to bring him home with me. This is really the only complaint that we have about him so anything is worth a try. --- In [email protected], twopenns@... wrote: > > Have you tried giving him somewhere in the house where it'[s OK to poop? > Have you set up a poop and pee pad or a litter box, it may be worth a try. > > Gloria > ------------------------------------ " Lets talk about our wonderful little pets!
