Actually the little boy I am picking up will go on one too. Being overweight is very hard on their little frames and has some serious health risks. Not to mention it shortens their lifespan. That being said I feed mine half their allotted amount in the am and half again in the pm. If they seems to be hungry still I might give them a few pieces in the mid-day. I have them that range from 2.85 to 7 pounds and none of mine have had a single problem. Hope this help ease your mind.
