Mare, Those mini's are adorable. I love the black and white. How precious. I had a mini I got from a pet store in 1974. I named him Schultzy. He was hoarse from barking all the time in the cage. (his bark sounded like a seal) He was about a year old. I loved him so much. He lived a nice long life and about a year later I got my first Chi. That was in 1989 and I adored him. His name was nino~. I swore he was human in a past life. Well my daughter accidentally let him out the front door and he was hit and killed. Nino~ was only two years old. I was absolutely heart broken. Then once all my kids were grown and gone I went and got another Chi. Now years later I am involved in rescue, foster small dogs and have 11 of my own Chi's. But I recently have a tiny female dabble doxie that was so sweet. She came from a puppy mill and had worms, toxcidia and a huge belly hernia. She had surgery to repair her hernia and was spayed. Now she is living the life of a princess a few miles away. I love happy endings!
