LOL. I had some small clothes I was going to give to the group, but if y'all
don't mind, I would like to take them to Kip's little one that has had such a
hard life. I feel like an Indian giver, but I honestly just don't have the
money to mail them all out.

What do y'all think?

Pam that is too funny! Mine don't get a lot of new fashion but we have so many
that there is enough to go around. When I had my first two girls I dressed them
like twins, Then I got a third girl and reordered to match the twins. Now that
I have 8 girls and 3 boys they must share. I love the more talented members
that can make clothes. I personally couldn't sew a burlap sack!

Mine wear clothes too, but I'm so broke they may be wearing burlap sacks soon.

I really don't see what difference it makes since there are others on this list
that do the same.

Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Does your Chi wear clothes?

Hi! I don't mean to be blunt but I was wondering if you are on this site to
talk about your chi or promote your website? I went to your website and you
have lovely outfits and a bit pricey for me because I have so many to buy for,
but the items are nice.
I just ask because I have not noticed you before.

Anyway, skin cancer is a horrible thing and so many people don"t realize dogs
and cats are effected by it too. I have a white chi too and I use a shampoo
with a sunscreen added. I also dress mine. But protecting the skin isn't
limited to white chi's I have some fawn with very fine coat that will also burn
and skin cancer can become a problem. Hope to hear more about your Chi.

I know this is a controversial subject for many, but I have a Chihuahua
(Ginger) who benefits from wearing clothing in the winter because she needs the
extra layer to keep warm. She's also a year-round sunbather (even taking
advantage of sun streaming through the windows indoors), and I worry about skin
cancer because she is white with no undercoat so the extra layer helps protect
her delicate skin.

I'm curious to know other Chi owner's thoughts on dog apparel. Does your Chi
wear clothing? How often and why? Seasonally, holiday, every day... for
protection, fun, fashion? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Also, if you're a Facebook user, I'd love to have you visit my Facebook page
and share pictures of your Chi's... http://www.facebook.com/ThePlushPaw
