Confused here Sheila --------------------------------------- We had some fleas on my neighbor's lawns last summer - so if Abbey was over there I would look every where on her skin to see if I could see anything which since she has black hair it was hard. I only saw one once and I just gave her a warm bath and it just fell into the water. But to be safe I used the little metal comb and went through her hair to make sure no eggs. We do not have the problems in N. Calif like they do in the south - most vets here do not put dogs on heartworm here unless we travel or go camping. -- Ann
