Sorry, I can't help with flea issues either. I don't think that we have any in the Las Vegas area. We don't have many homes that have real grass.mostly just rock yards here and Astroturf. I don't take mine to the dog parks - took Dolly one time and even though it was the small dog section all the other dogs were giants compared to her and she was so scared and just wanted to sit by me. If I took Desi.he would have a blast! But, wherever I go neither one will go without the other. So, I don't want to go to the dog park and have Dolly being scared to death.

Have you tried a night light with a bowl of water and soap suds under it? Just to see how many fleas are jumping around at night.. of course don't do it where your dogs have access.... Or did you just throw that statement in there? Confused here Sheila --------------------------------------- We had some fleas on my neighbor's lawns last summer - so if Abbey was over there I would look every where on her skin to see if I could see anything which since she has black hair it was hard. I only saw one once and I just gave her a warm bath and it just fell into the water. But to be safe I used the little metal comb and went through her hair to make sure no eggs. We do not have the problems in N. Calif like they do in the south - most vets here do not put dogs on heartworm here unless we travel or go camping. -- Ann
