Thanks Beth, but it wasn't as bad as they predicted, TG. No winds and snow, but we did get the rain/sleet that froze as it fell. In a way,it looked pretty when the moon light shined on all the mounds of old snow, they looked like icebergs! It warmed up to 37 and melted some of the old snow and now it just re-froze again. It's a no win! They are saying we will get another snow storm Sat....Ugh! Oh and TG the electric stayed on! -------Original Message------- From: Beth Michl Date: 2/2/2011 11:18:34 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Crazy Weather Oh all of you on the east coast dealing with this weather, I am praying for you! They are expecting more snow tonight and high winds and tomorrow is suppose to be a nightmare. This is a huge storm, covering 13 states. They are trying to prevent and prepare for outages. I sure hope I don't loose the electric. I can bundle me and the dogs up, but other then covers on the bird cages, how would I keep them warm? I pray that everyone stays safe and doesn't drive no matter what, it is just way to dangerous! -------Original Message------- From: [email protected] Date: 2/1/2011 9:22:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Chihuahuas] Crazy Weather Yesterday, we had temps in the high 70s, today, in the low 30s. We're suppose to have a hard freeze tonight, the only good thing is that it is dry However, the wind is strong and so chilling it cuts right down to the bone I am sitting in my den with my fireplace going and Emiliano asleep in his tent, bundled in his snuggle bag. I hope those of you in the path of this major winter storm, stay warm and don't lose power to your homes. Gloria
