Well after two days of being cooped up, I was finally able to dig myself out of the 17 inches of snow we got. I've never been so happy to be out of the house. The chi's loved having me home with them all day though. I hear we're supposed to get 5 inches this weekend on top of what we've already got. I think I need to move to a warmer climate. I know the chi's would be happy if I did that. We're suppose to have a hard freeze tonight, the only good thing is that it is dry. However, the wind is strong and so chilling it cuts right down to the bone. I am sitting in my den with my fireplace going and Emiliano asleep in his tent, bundled in his snuggle bag. I hope those of you in the path of this major winter storm, stay warm and don't lose power to your homes. Gloria
