This very thing is going on at the Miami Dade County shelter right here
in our city. Here is recent articles about the horrible situation here
in Miami. I've been to this shelter many times and its always a sad
experience to see those animals in cold cement cubicles, and it smells
so bad in there. Very overcrowded and they give each dog about 7 days
to be adopted then they're killed. There's a lot more going on in there
than they will admit. I hope they boot out the Director.
