Hi Lynn I have not been here for a little while. Ya, I was thinking that maybe Ricky had 2 other homes before me. Maybe his first home there were kids, because he seems not to mind kids to much, as he does strange adults. I bought this simi most food, Purina soft & moist. it does not have corn, but yes its has meat by products in it. I was thinking that since he eats his simi moist teats well, that maybe he will eat simi moist food. Instead of a bowl, I have been putting the little pieces in his interactive toy, where he has to get the cap out to get to the food. he enjoys doing that, and has no problem with eating out of the little compartments. so this is how his food is served now. I can tell you that since starting him on this purina moist and meaty, his flaky skin as lessened alot and his hair is getting shinier! thanks!!

He will not eat out of a bowl, but he drinks his water out of a bowl. If I hand feed him he will eat. If you drop his food on the floor he will eat (canned). I have tried throwing his little kibble on the floor too making it a game. I have found he will eat one or 2 pieces if he wants. He has never really eaten kibble at all. long story short today I decided to put his food on a plastic table mat on the floor where his dog bowls are. I put his canned food and a few kibble on the mat. He acually ate some of both on his own. not alot of the kibble but a couple pieces, and a couple licks of the canned.
