I have so often heard people discribe Texas in the Spring, with all the wildflowers in bloom, as being in heaven. Those fires make it look as if being in parts of Texas is like being in hell. I hadn't seen some of those photos, I weep for my state and my fellow Texans who are having to go through all of this.

The fires in other parts of Texas continue, its just been so dry and the areas that are wooded with trees and shrubs are more at risk when fires develop.
