Thanks so much Liz, sounds like great advice, am printing it all out and maybe my red eye history will become a thing of the past. Lynn In a message dated 5/7/2011 11:25:45 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
There has been some discussion as to how to avoid red eye while photographing your favorite Chi. The best way is to not use a flash. However, if you must use a flash (because there isn't enough natural lighting in the scene), do not shoot your pet straight on with the pet's eyes looking directly into the lens. Sadly, even a red eye setting on the best of cameras can't prevent red eye if the flash goes into the eye and bounces light back.
