I can see both you and your husbands point of view. She is your child and you want only the best for her. But try reading to her or taking her to the park. Doggie ice cream in the summer. Also cut her budget some and maybe buy a fifty pound bag of dog food and donate to your local shelter in her name. Or the ASPCA donations are like twenty a month. Think how many dogs could be fed by the cost of a dress. Maybe your husband will feel better knowing that its not about one dog but a bigger picture.
