Thank you so much for sharing MJ. That makes me feel a little better. Lucy is good at laying with me, but while I'd love to have her right next to me, she feels more comfy cuddling up next to my leg or feet. She seems like a very happy dog. She runs around and plays and tries to pounce on flies when we go outside. But as for getting hugs and kisses, she just turns her head and probably thinks to herself "hurry up and put me back down". Once I do she's her happy little self:).

[1 Attachment] [Attachment(s) from maryjane turner included below] Hi Naomi and welcome to the group. I have two little rescue girls and the first, Benji, who has been with us now a year and a half. She was so timid and shy at the age of 5 that it was all we could do to get her to even come to get a piece of chicken from our hand. She has gradually changed and even comes to me for a pet on a regular basis. She is still not a snuggler or lap sitter. Tilly came to live with us just 4 months ago and she is 5 too... she is all over us with love and kisses and wants to be right with me all the time. I don't know if Benji will change further but they are so cute and so happy with one another that we feel so blessed to have them. I feed morning and night and they scarf it right up with nothing left, ever.... Benji is 8 1/2 lbs and Tilly is about 9. They each get about 1/3 of a cup split into two meals. along with a couple of milk bones in the evening. They are doing well according to out vet. Can't wait to see your little one.... MJ, Benji and Till ________________________________ This message is for the designated recipient only. If you have received this message in error, please disregard the message and delete it.
