I am very sorry to hear Smidgen is doing so bad. Hope they'll be able to safe
her.

It would be sad if you have to sell your horse at this age. If you sell her
wont they take her to the slaughtery?

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Smidgen has taken a turn for the worst

My sweet little Smidgen isn't doing so well.. She started throwing up
yesterday. Took her in this morning and when they took her temp, it was low,
and she had blood on the thermomitor, and it was very smelly. The are running
blood test, and I will know more tomorrow. She was throwing up water, not
holding any down. I am scared for my Smidgen. I don't know if it has anything
too do with her heart failure?. She was so good when they poked her for the
blood, and then the fluids and 2 other injections.
I also had my hours cut at work 5 a week! I know it doesn't sound that bad, but
when I total it all up it cuts my income of over 360.00. I was struggling
before.  I have had my horse for almost 19 years. I will have to find her a
home ASAP, as I can know longer afford her board fee!! A very sad day for me..
Please say a prayer for Smidgen...

Thank you everyone..
Beth & critters
