Everything you just listed is what happens on message boards when you have different folks with different opinions. It is your choice to leave and if that is what you feel you must do then good luck in whatever you are searching for,
OT discussions are really good for a group. The person that requested the off-topic stuff be taken off the group has not posted about that since. Ebbs and flows will happen on any group you belong to You take what you can use and discard the rest. Good luck -----Original Message----- From: EnJae Sent: Monday, October 31, 2011 7:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Chihuahuas] Adios I come from an awful contentious family of origin. But I choose not to have that in my life anymore. I choose NOT to be a part of folks who value their own beliefs MORE THAN they value the person they're arguing with. In the last few weeks there has been ugliness over food choices, origin of chihuahuas and discussion of off-topic issues. I WANT to know when a friend is having issues that may or may not pertain to my dog. I WANT to know if someone has different idea than I have about a healthy way to feed my dog. I was VERY interested in the idea that chihuahuas are not regular dogs (and I've enjoyed reading up on the idea presented). However, the message that said to take the computer discussion offline; the flat-out rudeness when someone stated the possible fennec fox origin; and the hostile responses about whether to feed raw or kibble, bones or rawhide, & fruits and veggies or not has tapped the end of my patience.
