I've never seen a dog do what Nicky just did. I handed out treats to everybody. Nicky took his to his bed. So when everybody else had finished I looked to see if Nicky had finished his. (He is very slow and picky about eating his food.) Sure enough he was still working on it. I had to stay close so one of the others would not take it from him. When he finished the treat he proceeded to lick his paws and them wash his face with his paws. He repeated this over and over until he felt all traces of the treat were gone.
