Laura,
Wow, you know, what can I say. Iwant to get a tattoo, by my remaining son is a
deacon and is adamant about this.
I'm wondering if I should do it anyway?
I'm happy we have our dogs, eh?

I got a tattoo and an extra piercing in my ear.  My son would have been 27 this
year and my daughter would have been 32 this year.  All my understanding and
prayers go out to you in your grief.  It's a club none of us want to be a
member of but are glad that there are others who know the pain.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] How do I "celebrate" the one year death of my son? OT

Hi,
My son, David will be gone one year on February 22. I'd like to memorialize him
in a "permanent" way and am asking you what you think I can do. Each monthly
anniversary, I release helium-filled balloons (one with a "love note" stuck
inside it), knowing that it will get through the "atmosphere" (!??) and almost
all the way to heaven; then he can reach down and grab it!!  In my mind, it
happens...
So, to mark his one year, can you give me suggestions as to how I should
commemorate it?
Thanks so much.
Carolyn
