In the 70s, the vet told us to put Sevin dust on our dog to kill the fleas. Maybe they found out then that it was not good for the dogs.

Six weeks after he disappeared we had a call a little while ago from someone who lives about a mile away - he would show up there then be . - it got cold and the man let him in the house - someone else near us saw the sign and told him. He has brought him back. He had been dusted with sevin and full of fleas again and seems to have a little pussy discharge from his eyes now. He's not too happy at this point. Had a bath in Dawn and fleas were jumping off. Will have to call vet tomorrow and see what they want to do about the heartworm. He's now about a month overdue for the preventative he was on and of course past due for his second phase treatment. Anyway - for any who remember him I thought I would let you know.
