I really don't think it matters. I have male dogs and a male cat. Also a
female dog and a female cat. Kitty and the Canine Gang, Maxx, Jill, and
BitsUntil one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.

Hi, I have been considering getting a dog for a long time now. I am new to
dogs in general and I was wondering, since I have a male cat should I get a
male or a female Chihuahua or does it matter? I know I will have many more
