I bathe my dogs in Dawn and use Comfortis for fleas that I get from vet.
Been using it for over a year it and no ill effects. It is a monthly pill.
We also sprayed our house with spray from vet and treated yard with Seven
dust a year ago--no more fleas. I also put Avon Skin So Soft on them to
repel mosquitoes and I have done this to my pets for many years and vet
agrees that it works. WE used it in Florida Everglades and nary a bite. I
spray a tiny bit in palm of my hand and then rub on dogs. We have had a
death from West Nile Virus a week ago on a man who lives about 45 minutes
from us. Also dog with rabies discovered in our town and several people
being treated dog was euthanized.
