Well I don't know what to tell you. CHIRP works just fine for me, and I
suspect it works well for many other Mac users. Perhaps it's time you put
that 50 years of IT experience and degree to good use and work to resolve
your issues. I answered the questions you posed earlier, not sure what you
mean about it being 'far from stable' I've never had it crash out on me. As
I previously stated, I don't feel CHIRP is an inferior product at all.

Have you gone to your HT manufacturers and asked to use their provided
software? You did pay for their handsets and their support after all.
