Issue 1722: Problem with the status bar

Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 3: OK
Firefox 3: OK
IE 7: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any web page .
2. Point the mouse pointer to the status bar (where it says waiting for
google.com or anything)
3. Just move the pointer downwards.
What is the expected result?
Nothing should happen to the Status Bar.
What happens instead?
The status bar also moves downwards.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
