Let's improve the design then :-)

In my opinion, the optimal solution would be the "mophing" reload button --  
during
loading, it would display a "stop" icon and when stopped, it would  
display "reload"
icon and act accordingly.

IMHO the morphing "go-stop" button has a certain consistent logic to it but  
most
people do not think like that. Maybe guys at Google do but not people  
outside
Google's logically consistent world. Don't fall into the "design validation  
by
idealism" trap. Chrome is not a Mars Rover that has to be commanded to move  
forward
and then commanded to stop. Browsing the web is different.

I suggest putting in the "stop-refresh" button and replacing the "GO"  
button with
recent URL access. The main reason for this is making the UI more usable.

So in short: scrap the "GO" button and
