I attached a reduced version of the page.
How ever i think i located the problem.
In the page there was a fix for an older version of internet explorer.
You will find the fix (css) at line 20 in chrome_index.htm which is used at  
line 226
as class for a div.
When i take the class away from the div then all displays ok.

I hope you have any use for this info.

Btw, google chrome tells me every time to download plugins, but it never  
downloads
or installs any plugin. (i think its about a shockwave plugin to display a  
swf clock)
