Issue 4454: Tab floats, then chrome crashes http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4454
Comment #3 by jrezin: ...using compatibility mode for Windows Server 2003 kind avoids the bug (but the window looks like Chrome running in Windows XP), so it's something to do with Aero or the drawing code specifically for Vista/Aero. -Using compatibility mode for Windows XP results in an error when starting up Chrome. -Using Windows Server 2003 compatibility mode solves the fast click resulting in drag tab/floating tab instead of selecting tab, also solves drag tab outside of tab bar area then releasing tab resulting Chrome crash. Also, dragging tabs to outside of tab bar area then releasing mouse button to create a new window works well... as merging it back too. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
