I'm not clear with your reproducible steps. I see the same behavior of  
Chrome with
other browsers too (IE/FF/Safari)

-Launch TrayIt.
-Launch Chrome
-Right click on Chrome entry in TrayIt window and select "Place in System  
Try" from
the interstitial context menu
-Minimize the Chrome window.
-I will notice Chrome appears in system tray with the default icon.
-Now double click on Chrome icon
-I will get the Chrome window gets restored.
-If I close chrome, then it exists from system tray too (as the same case  
with other
browser too).
