Comment #5 on issue 5444 by berendjanwever: Logging in to Google make me
logged in in all Chrome-s
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5444

FireFox 3 and Chrome behave the same:
1) Open FireFox
2) Go to gmail.com
3) Log in with "remember me turned ON"
4) Open another FireFox instance
5) Go to gmail.com -> I am automatically logged in.
6) Close all FireFox windows
7) Open FireFox again
8) Go to gmail.com -> I am automatically logged in.
9) Log out
10) Log in with "remember me turned OFF"
11) Open another FireFox instance
12) Go to gmail.com -> I am automatically logged in.
13) Close all FireFox windows
14) Open FireFox again
15) Go to gmail.com -> I am not logged in.
This is expected behavior.

MSIE 7 does indeed work differently and requires you to log in again at
step 12.

Either way, FireFox/Chrome only automatically log you in when you are
already logged
in in another window. I can see how it may be a bit of a pain to have to
log out and
back in if you have multiple accounts. However, you will need to leave a
window open
to experience this - any other user can just use that window to read your
email, so
we're not exposing any information that's not already available because of
this open
window. There is no security bug here, only something that we might
consider changing
from a usability point of view.
