Comment #3 on issue 5083 by bedata: High browser process CPU usage from Flash on Vista http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5083
Update: Finally I think I have found a way to create this high cpu situation, at least on my laptop (Windows Vista Ultimate SP1). 1. Start Chrome 2. Go to http://thepiratebay.org 3. Select "Recent torrents" in the top menu (under the ship) A flash animation about Pheroline starts to play both at the top and at the bottom of the page. 4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the green right-arrow (next page) 5. Repeat step 4 10-15 times and the CPU goes to around 50% I really hope this is reproducable on another system. As I wrote before, I've not seen this on my XP machine. I wish you at good bug-hunting.
