Comment #7 on issue 5863 by xly...@chromium.org: Incompatible to Vista Microsoft New Phonetic IME (Tradition Chinese IME) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5863
Hi, moses.mason, thank you very much for your update, I am able to reproduce this issue now :-) But I think this is an IME issue not a Chrome issue: I got the exactly same result when I tried on Firefox, IE7 and notepad, Microsoft New Phonetic IME 10.0 is not intelligent enough to guess what you want by just 'l', noticed if you type "lan" then hit "space bar", you will see Chrome can show correct candidate "蘭". As you mentioned that this issue not reproduce on XP, yes, on XP, type "l" then hit "space bar", the IME candidate window will disappear, but I guess you are using the XP build-in IME for Chinese(TaiWan) -> Microsoft New Phonetic IME 2002a, it is slightly different with the Microsoft New Phonetic IME 10.0. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
