Comment #9 on issue 281 by esserj: Dragging a tab to the task bar results in not being able to open it again http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=281
This problem is indeed existing but its not because of dragging it to the taskbar, but just because you drag it behind the taskbar as the tab has no special functionality for beeing dragged to the taskbar, it just assumes you want to drag the window to that location of your screen. therefore people that have there task bar at the right are not experiencing this problem as the 'tab' is on the left side of the screen therefore the window would not completely disappear behind the task bar, but only a small bit. possible solution would be to add a function that changes the behaviour of the dragged tab when dragged to the task bar, to not just move the tab to the location but open the tab in a new browser (as done now), minimize(as it seems to be doing, but only because it hides behind the task bar) and adding default x,y values to it so that the next time it opens it appears nicely on the screen. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
