Just an additional comment: This issue is a really major annoyance because you tripleclick *very* (and I mean really: *very*!) often if you are using a touchpad and sometimes this makes the complete site not only ugly but unreadable. Chrome is wonderful but this is the only point I would mention immediately if I have to criticize Chrome.
