Comment #9 on issue 1833 by [email protected]: Downloads do not fully complete http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1833
The problem has resurfaced. Previously, Firefox downloaded files properly (along with 2.x builds of Chrome, not builds using winhttp) but now Firefox 3.0.5 does not fully download files neither. Tried to download a chromium build using Firefox 3.0.5 and only 1.1mb downloaded (tried multiple times but the entire file does not download) and it said the download was completed (this is what happens in Google Chrome builds with winhttp; ex. 1.0.154.43). Issue 406 in the description says this (experiencing the same problem) - "(below happened at random) The file just completed. It was at 36.6mb.. I have no clue what happened, it just .. finished." This is the problem I get with files. Before it was just Google Chrome 1.0.154.43 and previous versions (not 2.x builds) but now Firefox has the same problem (I removed and re-installed Firefox and Google Chrome and tried again and the problem was still there). I normally use Firefox to download chromium builds but now that Firefox has the same problem..I cant download them (don't have a chromium build on computer to see if it will work). Why is the problem affecting Firefox now?? Also, Issue 5770 is a duplicate of this issue. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
