I suspect this is the same problem, but I can't tell for sure from the description here. I have a search, "http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aen.wikipedia.org+%s&btnI=x";, with the keyword "wiki", which uses Google to search Wikipedia. Tab completion has never worked for it. I know that the search is registered because if I type "wiki" in the omnibox the dropdown menu includes "Search wikipedia for <enter query> ...
