Updates: Status: Invalid Owner: j...@chromium.org Comment #9 on issue 6172 by j...@chromium.org: Mouse wheel scrolls much less http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6172
I tried this with my Logitech mouse and we do indeed scroll about 65% as much as IE 7 in my case. This appears to be because we are obeying the Mouse Properties setting for Vertical Scrolling in Vista. If you go to Control Panel > Mouse > Wheel there is a setting for the number of lines to scroll with each notch. If you up this number then we scroll farther. Of course, "lines" is an approximation on a web page, but you get the idea. We do appear to interpret lines as 65% of what Internet Explorer says a line is but at least it is adjustable. I am closing this as Invalid as we appear to be doing the right thing. If you want to scroll faster then change the number in the control panel. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
