New issue 8204 by [email protected]: Wrong rendering: unwanted white
horizontal bar
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8204

Chrome Version : 2.0.166.1 (Build 10303), but as far as I know this
bug has always been present
URLs (if applicable) : http://www.corriere.it/
http://forum.telefonino.net/forumdisplay.php?f=27
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Firefox 3: OK
          IE 7: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just open the pages that I've linked

What is the expected result?
The page should be displayed correctly

What happens instead?
Sometimes a white horizontal bar appears, at a random height (see
screenshots).

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Refreshing the page with F5, passing the mouse over it to select the text,
or simply clicking on the menu -> "report bug or not working website" makes
it disappear, and everything looks normal.

This bug is quite difficult to reproduce, it happens only from time to time
(let's say once or twice a week). I've seen it across many versions of
Chrome (starting from the very first one in September), and up to 2.0.166.1
in Dev channel now, at least for the first site that I've mentioned (which
is one of the most famous newspapers in Italy, so it's a very popular
site). For the second site, well, actually I think it had never happened
until today.

In the first screenshot, the white stripe covers only half of the screen,
but usually it covers it from side to side, as can be seen in the second
screenshot, where it also covers the background.
