Comment #6 on issue 9703 by garey.taylor: Chrome Becomes Unresponsive or Crashes on Facebook http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=9703
Happens to me as well. Started after I upgraded to 2.0. The browser seems to freeze on any sites that have a lot of javascript, like facebook. I also happened on my google ig homepage and gmail. gmail got better after I removed the calender gadget. When Chrome is frozen, all other tabs are blank. ie. when I click on another tab, while chrome is freezing, the pages on those tabs are blank. Once chrome unfreezes those tabs start showing their pages again. It's almost like chrome freeze on a single thread and nothing else can be done while that thread is processing. At least, nothing inside the tabs. The menu, tabs, and everything else BUT the page are working fine. It's only the pages that are frozen, not chrome itself. Hope this helps. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
