Comment #8 on issue 9703 by ChelynnahWhippets: Chrome Becomes Unresponsive
or Crashes on Facebook
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=9703

Same thing has been happening to me the past 2 days. I thought it was to
do with
shockwave/adobe flash. Have reinstalled flash, have uninstalled and
reinstalled
Chrome, nothing helps. Chrome loads and will load the first page or two in
facebook,
but then just freezes and no pages will then do anything.

Actually scratch that - have just tested with facebook pages open in tabs,
but tried
to do something with another website (not related to facebook, and not java
related)
and it's frozen again now as well. So really it's become pretty useless.

Also when I close it after an instance of this, even though it no longer
shows in my
task manager, if I try to do something (like when I reinstalled flash), the
programme
insists that chrome is still open and must be closed - forcing a restart on
the
computer to get rid of it.
