Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 14835 by lilwong: Browser cuts off bottom portion of page viewport http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=14835
Chrome Version : 3.0.190.0 (Developer Build 0) (3.0.190.0~svn20090620r18892-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty) URLs (if applicable) : Facebook, Google Reader (just some examples, it's consistent for everything) Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 4: N/A Firefox 3.x: OK IE 7: N/A IE 8: N/A What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Install Chromium from the daily builds Ubuntu PPA 2. Open FaceBook; you will see that the bottom menu bar has been lopped off and no amount of scrolling will help you see it. 3. Open Google Reader; you will see that the "Next" and "Previous" item buttons at the bottom of the screen are again missing. 4. This introduces rather troublesome usability issues. What is the expected result? That I see the page in its entirety. What happens instead? A small amount of the bottom of each page gets cut off. Like the calculation for the view port has gone slightly screwy. I noticed that this started happening with the daily builds since about beginning of the week of 15th June. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Using Kubuntu Jaunty with KDE 4.3 beta 2. Screenshot attached. You can see that the Next and Previous item buttons are missing from the bottom of the browser viewport.
