Comment #5 on issue 15437 by joesixgig: 3.0.190.1 crashes every few minutes
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15437

Last one from me:
- uninstalled Chrome keeping settings (was apparently unnecessary, latest
build
installed separately as Chromium)
- installed Chromium from 'mini_installer.exe'

The crashes described here no longer happen (thanks!), but a new glitch has
appeared: on my system any open bookmarks menu closes the moment any tab
finishes
loading. That means that trying to open a new bookmark while 10 tabs are
loading is
pretty much impossible.

Final comment on settings: when Chrome (not chromium) is reinstalled,
please have
the option 'import bookmarks' unchecked whenever the installer detects
previous
Chrome settings. I once forgot to uncheck, and got a nice duplicate set of
bookmarks: all my IE8 favs and all old Chrome bookmarks.

On that note: exporting bookmarks to HTML does not seem to save Chrome
bookmarks
that have no name/title. I think I understand why, but still, please also
export
those 'unnamed' shortcuts and give them some kind of temporary name
(unnamed1 etc)
so that they can be saved and recovered later.

And finally: can we save all the custom searches in some readable format?
If not,
which file from the Chrome settings folder do I copy to retain these? I
don't want
to lose all the work setting them up. I know this is not a forum, but hey,
maybe
someone feels like answering as a reward for reporting the crashing issue
as fixed?
