in my opinion, one backspace to exit the search engine mode and another one
to delete
the autocomplete suggestion isn't too much
the autocomplete suggestion backspace isn't really related to the search
mode and the
first backspace simply deletes the extra space/tab added after the keyword
to enter
search mode
you can of course hold the backspace pressed
