Comment #3 on issue 15813 by [email protected]: fail to install on 64bit ubuntu http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15813
What app are you using to install Chrome? dpkg? gdebi? synaptic? other? I don't have a plain Hardy handy, but I just did a clean install on Intrepid with gdebi and it doesn't complain. The fact that ia32-libs-gtk is a virtual package and can't be installed by itself shouldn't affect Chrome installation. Being able to depend on virtual packages, and have that dependency be satisfied by "unknown" concrete packages, is one of the intended uses of virtual packages. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
