Ah, it seems this issue is related to what is visible on our screens. The
cursor is
#000000 and it's displayed on top of the border, which is #404040. On my
laptop screens
(IBM x60, HP G60, MacBook Air looking at the screenshot) the color
difference is not perceptible, so there does not seem to be a cursor.
For reference, see the screenshot of all the browsers I tested in.
