Thank you very much... I think I'll change that in my linux box...

For Mac OS X the default is to have emacs-like keybindings so its normal  
more people will complain. But if
chrome is not honouring gconfs settings it may be a bug... But... In linux  
you have the problem of knowing if the
user uses gnome or KDE...
