As I mentioned in issue 17724, these are in-development versions, with no guarantees of stability. Complaining further will *not* get this fixed sooner. Many people have already acknowledged this bug exists, and the variety of reports indicate that this affects just about every platform and has been around since revision 21531. I've done the best *I* could do to fix it by narrowing it to one specific check-in to help the process along. Revert to 21529 <http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/21529/> if you cannot wait for a fix to land.
