Clear-on-close should at least be the behavior for Incognito mode. Currently, the Downloads Tab doesn't record items in Incognito mode, but the Download Shelf does, and it remembers them across closures. Worse, there's no way to manually clear items from the Shelf (Issue 60?). However, I agree that *in-progress* downloads should not be cleared upon close. On that note, the OTHER problem in Incognito mode is that if an in-progress download is pushed off the Shelf by newer downloads, you completely lose the ability to track it, since the Downloads Tab doesn't keep a record of it (Issue 17871). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
