New issue 17874 by [email protected]: Chrome consumes 100% on
images.google.com
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=17874
Chrome Version : 3.0.193.2 (Official Build 21134)
URLs (if applicable) : images.google.com
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4:
Firefox 3.x: OK
IE 7:
IE 8:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to google.com
2. Search for anything
3. Right click on "images", open images search results in new tab
4. Observe that chrome freezes.
What is the expected result?
Browser should proceed to load images.
What happens instead?
Browser consumes 100% CPU.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I realize that this may be very system dependent, and is possibly due
to some strange network setup on my end, but it's strange that the bug
does not happen on firefox.
I have attached a video showing the symptoms (hopefully it's not too
large)
