Comment #9 on issue 15861 by [email protected]: Default to custom frame depending on window manager http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15861
A wrinkle as I was working on this: ion3 sets the root window's _NET_SUPPORTING_WM_CHECK property to a window with the name "ion3" (per EWMH), but xmonad doesn't -- I don't see any way to tell when we're running under xmonad. ratpoison doesn't set it either. If you suggest other tiling window managers for which we wouldn't want to use the custom frame, I'll take a look at them. Suggestion: Only use the custom frame for window managers where we know that it makes sense. This should cover most users (and I think that these WMs are more likely to support EWMH, too). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
