Comment #7 on issue 18251 by Jonathan007: Using Tab Key To Browse Address Bar History Broken http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18251
> This is precisely why we inline-autocomplete: so that you can type one or > two letters and _no_ other keys to get the site you want. This will take you to a main URL, yes, but when you're dealing with any site that has multiple address links with the same main URL, the inline autocomplete doesn't do the job. It sounds like you're not going to do anything about this, but it is really unfortunate. You have a feature that works in IE and FF and there are options to get this into chrome. You're dealing with a smaller group of users for this suggestion, but when you consider that the only reason that people like me will stay with FF is that this feature does not exist in chrome, I'd think you'd want to get the same functionality into chrome. Just on general principle, it prevents you from having to hear from people like me. If everything had the same functionality that we're used to, it is very easy to make the switch. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
